I wanted to create a series of watches that represent nationalities. I want to emphasize that national symbols, especially the Finnish lion, do not represent hatred or suspicion towards others, but rather pride.

Everyone experiences Finnishness individually. For me, Finnishness means being able to go swimming in a clean lake after a sauna. Anyone who feels Finnish can be proud of their national identity and be Finnish..

The Carbon I watch series is handmade from carbon fiber using pressure casting technology. The glass on the front and back of the watch is sapphire, making it highly resistant to wear and tear.

Printing the Finnish lion emblem on the Nation Fin watch was extremely challenging, as printing a detailed logo is complicated. I will explain this in more detail on the watch manufacturing page. A significant amount of Finnish craftsmanship goes into the manufacture of the watch, which is why it has been awarded the Key Flag symbol for products made in Finland.

The parts of the watch case are designed and manufactured in our own workshop. The watch face is made of 0.18 mm metal sheet using laser cutting, after which it is coated and then pad printed, all in our own workshop. The watch is available with a rubber or NATO strap, both of which are handmade.
